2. Who is EDMI Help for?

We assist anyone who has suffered an injury, including from car accidents, work-related injuries, falls, or home incidents. You do not need insurance or legal status to qualify.

3. Is EDMI Help free?

Yes. All services are 100% free. We are a nonprofit supported by donors, grants, and community partnerships. You will never be charged.

4. Do I need legal status or insurance to receive help?

No. We welcome undocumented, uninsured, and underserved individuals without judgment.

5. Is EDMI Help a law firm or medical clinic?

No. EDMI Help is not a law firm or medical provider. We are a neutral community support program. We refer you to licensed professionals but never force or pressure you to work with anyone.

9. Can you help me apply for disability or lost wages?

Yes. We provide step-by-step help with temporary disability applications and lost wage claims, including assistance with forms and follow-up.

We currently offer services in Creole, Spanish, and English, and we provide translation support when needed.
