I am pleased to fully support EDMI Help, a nonprofit organization based in Hempstead that provides critical recovery education, trauma-informed care, and multilingual support services to vulnerable communities throughout Nassau County.

Under the leadership of Frantz Coutard, EDMI Help has become a trusted resource for individuals, particularly low-income families and immigrants, navigating the complex and often overwhelming process of physical and emotional recovery following serious accidents. Their work is vital to filling systemic gaps that too often leave our most vulnerable neighbors isolated, uninformed, or exposed to fraud and mistreatment.

By focusing on culturally competent education, trauma support workshops, and post-discharge assistance, EDMI Help empowers individuals in crisis and reduces the burden on our healthcare system. Their commitment to holistic, community-centered care aligns with my ongoing mission to support equitable access to services and resources for all residents of Nassau County.
